THE TROPICAL HOUSE WHITSUNDAYS

ABSOLUTE WATERFRONT WHITSUNDAY ISLANDS VIEWS

The Tropical House Whitsundays perfectly captures the North Queensland lifestyle. Interior-decorated, tropical chic beach house style – fully self contained lower level of the property – swim in the exclusive use huge swimming pool, laze on the sheltered decks.

A relaxing holiday getaway from busy lives, a wonderful romantic retreat – why honeymooners love us!

Sleep sweetly; your space has two bedrooms (Queen bed with sweeping views over the bay, or cosy Double bed room) – a maximum of two adults (three guests or one child over ten years upon request).

NOTE: The owner may be in residence upstairs during your stay – although as a travel writer will most likely be away – nevertheless she is quiet (also a wealth of information having lived in the area on and off for over 35 years).

The Tropical House Whitsundays enjoys breathtaking views, leading to a horizon dotted with many of the 74 Whitsunday Islands.

The Shute Harbour peninsula neighbourhood feels rather like an Island getaway – uniquely pristine and quiet. Yet a twelve minute scenic drive through Conway National Park gets you to the seaside township of Airlie Beach (island boat day-trip departures, boutiques, spa salons, gyms, Saturday markets, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets), hire a car ( recommended), or walk down the road to the local bus, or island transfer ferries. Arrive in the region via Proserpine Whitsunday Coast Airport, or Hamilton Island and take a ferry to the mainland.

Shute Harbour neighbourhood is brimming with native birds (kookaburra & cockatoo visit daily), just  meters from calm waters, where native bush meets reef of the sheltered bay. View sunrise across the water, breakfast on tropical fruit, and swim in the pool.  Stroll to the end of the street for a meandering bushwalk to a coral fringed beach. Enjoy a day trip to National Park islands and the Great Barrier Reef, spend dusk on the deck, watch the brilliance of stars appear. Thrillingly, in season, whales can be viewed frolicking in the Bay, the only sound the gentle lap of waves – this tranquil setting is a nature lover’s paradise.

“The Tropical House Whitsundays is the perfect place to recharge. A location where memories of a simpler time can surface. Skip the overwrought glossy houses in town, instead enjoy our piece of paradise. As one of the charming original ‘70’s properties we know what we have is special - The Tropical House Whitsundays will get under your skin. We look forward to welcoming you time and again.”
